We'll see how that goes :) Starting next week, for 4 weeks (I was going to do June, but seeing that it's already the 8th...).

Music Concourse
For my fieldtrip today, I decided to go to the Music Concourse in Golden Gate Park (situated between the De Young museum and the Academy of Sciences).

I've always wanted to come here to just sit and enjoy the day....and people watch...I love people watching. And it was a beautiful day out so there were people a plenty! Got some quick sketches in while I sat and ate my lunch.
Car Jump
This is my first very rough pass of blocking with 3 out of the 4 characters in this scene...a large flea like creature is hopping away from our heroes (no car movement yet)...I wanted to have some fun with my friend's thesis characters so I thought a pursuit scene would be a fun idea!

Hand Study
I can't remember the last time I actually practiced drawing hands...tsk tsk...so I broke out some references and started drawing again! References courtesy of the Iron Giant and my left hand. It's time to get back on the ball.
